Our Optometrist Eye Doctors
Alissa Wald, O.D., Managing Doctor
I am honored that Dr. Likens and Dr. Wilson have put their trust in me to transition ownership and care for their loyal patients of over 30 years.
For over 25 years, I have been providing eyecare to the Costa Mesa community as the owner of OC Eye Designs Optometry. I pride myself in providing the best in eyecare along with a great patient experience. Our philosophies are the same, high quality care with a passion to provide only the best for our patients.
I am delighted to be part of the Irvine community again. In fact, I was engaged in Irvine and lived in Westpark as a newlywed. I grew up in a small town in Michigan and did my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. After graduating from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1989, magna cum laude, I moved to southern California and started OC Eye Designs Optometry in 1991.
My husband Scott and I, along with our twins Tessa and Ben are thrilled to carry on the legacy of Woodbridge Optometry.

Dr. Yang speaks conversational Chinese and clinical Spanish.
Dr. Yang is dedicated to finding the best treatment plan for each patient’s needs and strives to educate her patients in a way that leaves them with a greater understanding of their personal eye health.
